A strong design isn’t enough on its own if you don’t know whether it works on the people it’s meant for. Before approving the final direction, we can put it in front of potential customers: in two formats, depending on how much depth you need and your budget.
Preference Check – an optional gut-check before finalizing. We present the four variants in an anonymous online survey to a group of around 100 people. Participation is rewarded (the reward goes to a charity), which keeps the responses considered and honest. Each respondent rates every version on a 1-7 scale, picks the one they like most and the one they’d most likely buy (or for B2B branding: the one they’d be most inclined to work with), and leaves a short comment on each. You receive a concise summary: scores for each variant, the gap between the „best-looking” one and the „most likely to be bought” (/”most compelling to partner with”), and the most frequently recurring comments. It isn’t a full consumer study, but a strong outside signal that helps you choose a direction.
Preference Test – in-depth validation of the design with your actual target audience. We start by defining the audience profile together with you – demographic and purchasing criteria (e.g. how often and in what price range they buy products in the category). Only people who match the profile are admitted to the anonymous survey; everyone else is screened out at recruitment, before they see the designs. The group consists of around 100 qualified respondents. Participation is rewarded (the reward goes to a charity), which keeps the responses reliable. Each respondent rates every variant on a 1-7 scale, picks the one they like most and the one they’d most likely buy, and comments on each. You receive a report: scores per variant (with the option to break results down by segment), the gap between the „best-looking” one and the one chosen in practice, and conclusions recommending a direction. The verdict comes from people who genuinely belong to the product’s target audience.
